Meet The Team

Anessa strives to instill a love of learning in all her students to rival her own love of learning.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Montana State University, and her Master of Science degree in Teacher Education from Cairn University.  Her master’s thesis paper was on the newly emerging (at the time) Classical Christian Education movement.  She has had her toes in the homeschooling world since she taught missionary kids in Germany where she met her husband, Steve.   She taught in homeschool co-ops and was a private tutor even before teaching her own four children.  Her love of teaching has not dimmed even though her own children are growing out of a full homeschool setting.  Years spent following her husband’s military career introduced her to many different homeschooling co-ops and other educational programs, both in person and online.  She loves the idea of a micro-school and is looking forward to the upcoming year.
